GOAL: Review the draft 2.0 documents and provide feedback to build a more complete listing of initiatives.

  • Athletics not highlighted (Interesting)—how they relate to the rest of campus is important
  • Front Entrance is critical with lots of discussion and questions around cost and projects
  • Enrollment planning is critical to growth
  • Strong support for donor supported or institutional funded positons to grow programs
  • Small is defined as more than 1000 rather than less than 1000
  • Graduate school preparation should be highlighted—how would that be affected by our high first generation student population
  • Demographics should be a consideration for growth; What would it look like if we moved locations? What is keeping us in KS? Must be able to reconcile our location
  • Partnering with other institutions could be beneficial
