Goal: Start to identify key strategies within the four focal areas
- Interdisciplinary majors would be a great way to offer more specific programs. Students want more specific major programs (athletic training vs. PE); majors are too broad; what do students want? /what does the market need?
- Liberal Arts education relevance needs to be considered. How do we balance the broad based curriculum with professional studies?
- Partner with community organizations and businesses to build academic programs.
- Are there more creative ways to deliver more affordable, yet quality education: Is there room for growth online? Could we offer 3 plus 2 programs?
- Connect with alumni in major areas-highlight our successful alumni
- Facility improvements should be focused on residential space: new student union, events center, dorms, fitness center.
- More flexible options for students wanting to stay on campus—give them a reason to want to stay on campus.
- Better utilize our space and brand the spaces
- What are we doing with current students to make them donors later?
- Educate students on the financial situation of the college—financial aid, how they pay and what we spend the money on
